National Forensics League Award

Chris Begeman

October 17, 2007

The Norfolk High School NFL Chapter received the Leading Chapter Award in the Nebraska District.

The National Forensics League describes the award:

This coveted award, based upon student participation, is the highest honor NFL can bestow upon a chapter.  Only one school in each district attains this honor yearly and must wait at least 5 years before being eligible for the award again.

This year, out of over 2900 NFL member schools, your school (NORFOLK!) is one of only 104 to receive the Leading Chapter Award. … Your award reflects 624 members and degrees over 9 years.

The National Forensics League is a non-partisan, not for profit educational honor society founded in 1925.  It supports, encourages and grants awards to students and schools who compete and excel in debate, public speaking and interpretation.
