-NOVEMBER 2008-
FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK: Cory Worrell
The turnout for Parent/Teacher Conferences was outstanding! I want to thank you for the time you spent talking with your child’s teacher(s). I hope you were able to learn more about how well your child is doing in school and also how they need to improve in some areas. Parent/Teacher Conferences also give us a chance to learn more about you and your family. This helps us to better serve your child. If you have further questions about anything you heard during conferences, please feel free to give us a call and discuss it more.
During November, there are a number of days that students have off. Students don’t have school on November 12th. They also have a 2:00 dismissal on November 26th followed by having the 27th and 28th off for Thanksgiving Break. Please mark these days on your calendar at home and enjoy these days off with your family!
We are now into the month of November and the weather has changed. Please make sure your child is coming to school dressed appropriately. By now they should be wearing a heavy jacket or coat along with long pants, gloves and/or mittens and a stocking cap. The weather in Nebraska is unpredictable. Please see your child is dressed for these changes. Thanks!
Anytime
you would like to visit our building, please call and set up a time
for your visit.

WINTER WEATHER WILL BE HERE SOON…
Just a
note about winter weather and school recess---please send boots
to school with your child when it snows. If
students do not have boots to wear at recess, they must go outdoors
anyway but must remain on the sidewalk and not play
on the playground.
It is also time to bring mittens
and cover for those little ears. Students will go outdoors
for recess unless the temperature is below zero, so they
need to be bundled up and warm. Thank you for your help
in seeing all students are warmly dressed and have boots this
winter!
