The April Students of the Month were recognized on Tuesday, April 29 and will receive their pizza party on Tuesday, May 6.
Grant Elementary is now registering children for Kindergarten for the 2008 – 2009 school year. If your child will be 5 years old on or before October 15, 2008 they are eligible to register. Kindergarten registration packets may be picked up in our school office between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. When registering, please bring your child's birth certificate and immunization records. Before entering kindergarten your child will also need to have a physical and vision screen. Our Kindergarten Round Up will be held on Thursday, May 1 at 7:00 P.M. in our gym.
Registration has also begun for Preschool for the 2008 – 2009 school year. If your child will be 4 years old on or before October 15, 2008 they are eligible for preschool. If you would like to register your child for preschool, you may now register at Goldenrod Hills Headstart, at 301 E. Omaha Ave. Due to our partnership, all applications for Grant Preschool must be completed at Goldenrod Hills.
Grant School is continuing to host a book club on Thursday nights from 7:00 - 7:30 P.M. during our Family Reading Night. The first 20 families that sign in each week receive a FREE book. The kindergarten through third grade (picture book) club will be read from 7:00 - 7:15 P.M. and the 3rd - 5th grade (chapter book) club will be read from 7:15 - 7:30 P.M. We look forward to seeing you at the Grant Book Club! Our final Family Reading/ Book Club Night will be Thursday, May 15.

Los Abril Estuidantes del Mes fueron reconocidos el Martes, Abril 29 y van a recibir una fiesta de pizza el Martes, Mayo 6.
La Grant Primaria ahora esta registrando a niños/as para el Kinder para el 2008 – 2009 año escolar. Si su niño/a va a cumplir 5 años en o antes del Octubre 15, 2008 ellos/as son eligibles para registrarse. Kinder registración paquetes se pueden recoger en nuestra oficina de la escuela entre las horas de 8:00 A.M. y 4:00 P.M., Lunes a Viernes. Cuando registrando, por favor traer el certificado de nacimiento de su niño/a y archivos de inumunizaciónes. Antes de entrando al kinder su niño/a tambien va a necesitar un fisico y evaluación de vista. Nuestro Rodeo de Kinder se va a llevar a cabo el Jueves, Mayo 1 a las 7:00 P.M. en nuestro gimnasio.
La registración tambien ha comenzado para la Pre-escuela para el 2008-2009 año escolar. Si su niño/a va a cumplir 4 años en o antes del Octubre 15, 2008 ellos/as son eligibles para el pre-escuela. Si a usted le gustaria registrar a su niño/a para la pre-escuela, usted ahora puede registrar en el Goldenrod Hills Headstart, en el 301 Este Avenida Omaha. Debido a nuestra asociación, toda aplicación para la Grant Pre-escuela se tiene que completar en el Goldenrod Hills.
La Grant Escuela esta continuando a patrocinar un club de libro el Jueves por las noches de 7:00 - 7:30 P.M. durante nuestra Noche de Lectura Familiar. Las primeras 20 familias que se apunta cada semana reciben un libro GRATIS. Los del kidner hasta tercer grado (libro de retrato) club se va a leer de 7:00 - 7:15 P.M. y los del 3r – 5o grado (libro de capitulo) club se va a leer de 7:15 - 7:30 P.M. Nosotros esperamos con ilusión a viendolos a ustedes en el Grant Club de Libro! Nuestra noche final de Lectura Familiar/Club de Libro va a ser el Jueves, Mayo 15.
