Seventh grade English students will further develop their skills of writing an autobiography through this project. Before writing their own, each student will read at least one autobiography of a well-known person. Photographs taken by the student authors will lend visual support to their writing. The Step-Up to Writing will be used. Grant funds will purchase a collection of autobiographies that will serve as a model for students as well as digital cameras for the photographs.
