Bel Air Buddies were formed to welcome, orientate, and inform new students about Bel Air School. The group is composed of one girl and one boy from each classroom in grades one through five. Duties include: giving school tours, sharing information about special school activities, eating lunch together during the first week, accompanying newcomers to their first recess to explain available activities, making introductions to special teachers and staff, and providing on-going support throughout the school year. Grant funds were used to purchase identifying vests to be worn by Bel Air Buddies during the first week of school and at special events throughout the year.
