Notice -- Notice of the
special meeting was published in the Norfolk Daily News on
Monday, November 26, 2007.
5:30 p.m. Session -- The Board of
Education met on Monday, December 3, 2007, at 5:30 p.m. for a board
retreat at the Central Office in Norfolk, Nebraska. Members
present included: Paul Cazabon, Clark Froehlich, Brad
Krivohlavek, Jane McDaniel, Julee Pfeil, and Alfredo Ramirez.
Absent: none. Also present were Superintendent Marlene
Uhing, Associate Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Dan
DePasquale, Associate Superintendent for Business Services Robert
Waite, and Director of Student Services Doug Witte.
A meal was provided from 5:30 to 6:00 and the
retreat began at 6:00. The retreat time was spent reviewing
data related to staffing, enrollment, and funding. Discussion
centered on how to use district resources to meet district goals
and provide equitable educational opportunities for all
students.
A date for the board/administrator retreat was set for January
15th, 2008.
Adjournment – President McDaniel
declared the meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
