Notice -- Notice of the 2nd meeting of the month was published in the Norfolk Daily News on Monday, September 24, 2007.
12:00 Noon Session -- The Board of Education met on Monday, October 1, 2007, at 12:00 noon for the 2nd meeting of the month in the Board Room of the Administration Office, 512 Philip Avenue. Members present included Jane McDaniel, Brad Krivohlavek, Julee Pfeil, Paul Cazabon, and Clark Froehlich. Absent: Alfredo Ramirez. Also present was Superintendent Marlene Uhing, Robert Waite, Dan DePasquale, and Doug Witte.
Open Meetings Act -- President McDaniel announced that a complete copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted on the East wall in the Board Room of the Administration Office, 512 Philip Avenue.
Legal Meeting – Jane McDaniel, President, called the meeting to order at 12:01 noon and declared a legal meeting of the Board of Education.
Discussion of Board Policy-- The entire meeting was spent discussing board policy.
State
School Boards Convention – Dr. Uhing asked the board
members to be thinking about attending the State School Boards
Convention. We will need to know no later than the October 8,
2007 board meeting in order to get names to our reservations.
At 1:00 p.m.
