Notice - Notice of the special meeting was
published in the Norfolk Daily News on Wednesday, November
8, 2006.
November 14, 2006 -
The Board of Education met on Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at 12:00
noon at the Norfolk Public Schools Administration Office Board
Room. Members present included: Alfredo Ramirez, Julee
Pfeil, Paul Cazabon, Jane McDaniel, and Clark Froehlich.
Absent: Brad Krivohlavek. No others were present.
Call to Order, Open
Meetings Act -
Alfredo Ramirez, President, called the meeting to order at 12:05
p.m. and declared a legally advertised meeting of the Board of
Education for the purpose of deciding on a superintendent search
firm and to discuss superintendent traits and officers for next
year.
State School Boards
Association Firm Hired for Supt. Search- It was moved by ___________, seconded by
_______________, to hire the State School Boards Association group
as the superintendent search firm. Roll call:
Aye: Jane McDaniel, Clark Froehlich, Julee Pfeil, Paul
Cazabon, and Alfredo Ramirez. Absent: Brad
Krivohlavek.
Roles - The board then moved into discussion
of roles in the superintendent search and the coordination between
the School Boards Association and the applicants.
Traits - The board discussed traits they
desire in a superintendent.
Officers - The board discussed officers for next
year.
Adjournment - President Ramirez adjourned the meeting at
1:00 p.m.
